I started cooking many years ago because I like to eat and entertain. Friends encouraged me to compete, so the Big Pig BBQ Team was born. After a dozen or so backyard contest and 75 Professional contests I decided to organize contests. It’s less work! Ok not so much less work. I wanted to bring a contest to Sweet Grass County to help grow the BBQ sport and help raise money for youth programs.

You to can cook in a backyard contest and win some money and have a great time. BBQ Pitmasters are a great group of folks. No matter the level of experience they all help each and enjoy some fierce friendly competition.
